Job Openings - 2026
Gardener
Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Season: Mid March, 2026 – November 7, 2026

We are seeking gardeners who are curious, reliable, and interested in learning. Professional gardening experience is welcome but not required. What matters most is a genuine interest in plants, land, and ongoing outdoor work, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
​
This role is well suited to people who enjoy working outdoors in all conditions, learning through observation and repetition, and contributing to a collaborative team. Many of our most successful team members come from backgrounds in farming, gardening, the arts, athletics, or other craft-based or physical work.
Responsibilities include:​

Hands-on garden maintenance and care

Assisting with garden installations and site improvements

Learning plant identification, timing, and garden ecology
-
Working closely with experienced gardeners and team leads
-
Supporting gardens as living systems that evolve over time
Qualifications:​

Interest in plants, land, and outdoor work

Willingness to learn through observation and repetition

Reliability, consistency, and care for details

Comfort with physical work in all weather conditions

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s license

Experienced Fine Gardener
Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Season: Mid March, 2026 – November 7, 2026

We are also seeking an experienced fine gardener with a background in professional gardening, horticulture, or farming. This role is ideal for someone who values craft, care, and efficiency, and who is interested in growing into greater responsibility over time.
​
The experienced gardener supports the ongoing care of perennial and edible gardens, works with attention to detail and seasonal rhythms, and contributes to the long-term health and longevity of each site.
​
Responsibilities Include:​

Planting, transplanting, pruning, weeding, and ongoing garden care

Supports the ongoing care and installation of perennial and edible gardens
-
Soil preparation and amendment
-
Watering, digging, raking, and general site upkeep
-
Observing plant health and responding thoughtfully
-
Supporting daily workflow and team communication

Qualifications:
-
Professional experience in gardening, horticulture, or farming
-
Strong plant knowledge and attention to detail
-
Ability to balance care, quality, and efficiency
-
Comfort with sustained physical work outdoors
-
Clear communication and reliability
-
Interest in mentoring or supporting less-experienced gardeners
-
Valid driver’s license

​As experience and trust grow, this role may expand to include mentoring newer crew members and supporting site coordination.​
